OL Reign Partners with Water1st for International Women’s Day

In support of International Women’s Day, OL Reign is partnering with Water1st, a Seattle based organization that invests in water and sanitation projects in Central America, Asia and Africa, creating opportunities for women to earn an income, for girls to attend school, and for families to prosper.

Starting and running through OL Reign’s Home Opener at Lumen Field on Friday, March 18, those who make a donation of $40 or more to Water1st International using this link, will receive a brand new sustainable OL Reign water bottle, arriving soon.

In addition to an OL Reign water bottle, individuals who make a donation to Water1st on March 8 through OL Reign’s Home Opener on Friday, March 18, will receive free registration for the Carry5 Walk for Water on May 1, 2022.

The Carry5 Walk for Water is a five-kilometer walk designed to raise awareness of the challenges that disproportionally impact women and girls resulting from water insecurity, and to collect donations that will fund future clean water projects.

As an organization that is proud to advocate for gender equity, OL Reign is proud to partner with Water1st on this initiative. In many regions of the world, access to water remains a challenge that is typically addressed by women and girls, who are often required to walk miles every day to collect water for their families. This obligation perpetuates cycles of inequity, as women and girls miss the opportunities of education and employment.

A sponsor of OL Reign and close partner of Water1st International, Everybody Water has also played an impactful role in furthering the mission of Water1st to build a more equitable world. Everybody Water provides premium water in a carton that is beautiful inside and out – an essential, everyday product created with sustainability at its core.

Everybody Water, a business committed to intentional practices and doing good, donates portions of its revenue to help fund clean water infrastructure that provides running water in people’s homes for the first time all over the globe. Everybody Water is a business made by women for women and recognizes the importance of taking action to enable women and girls to reach their potential.
